Recent questions
As we get questions we will post the answers and questions in this area even if they are covered in
the rules or FAQs.
1) Subs,
a team can have a sub as long as the team notifies the league before the sub bowls, Ten
minutes is sufficient. You can notify us by, email, phone, or fax.
2) City tournaments,
If your city tournaments fall during the NLB session you use the scores
bowled during your team event.
Here we go
We are getting new bowlers into the system and the
first local leagues will be running tonight. We still have a number of captains getting their teams together. The roster won't be set until closing of the last
sign up day which is Sunday the 22nd of feb. (if you bowl on that day)
Score uploading form
The score uploading form for this session should be running by the 16th or 17th. The link to the form will be on the front page.
Sign in time
Any bowlers who want to get in on this session must be signed up before they bowl in their local
league, during the first week of the NLB league. A bowler can sign up the same day
they bowl, but it must be before they bowl. Entries are time stamped when they arrive at the web site servers.
Starting date; NLB Squad 1A
The starting date is Feb. 16th 2009.

Week one (1) 12:00 AM, Monday, 02/16/09 through Sunday, 11:59PM 02/22/09
Week two (2), 12:00 AM, Monday, 02/23/09 through Sunday, 11:59PM 03/01/09

Week four (4), 12:00 AM, Monday, 03/09/09 through Sunday, 11:59PM 03/15/09
A couple questions we have gotten lately
While these are covered in the rules and FAQs they can be hard to find.
1) Do bowlers on an NLB team have to play on the same local league ? NO, team members
can bowl at any other center in a sanctioned league.
2) Can a bowler be on more than one team at a time in an NLB league ? YES
3) Can a bowler play in two different NLB leagues at the same time ? YES
Change to the entry form.
We have made a change to the entry form. A place has been added to indicate if a bowler is signing
in as a single bowler or as part of a team. As team members don't have to sign up at the same time,
we now know faster who is looking for team members and who is already part of a full team.
Starting date
The alternate starting date Feb. 16th 2009 is now the date.

is available to answer a couple questions that have sometimes been overlooked in the FAQs and rules. It addresses score verification, and high or low scoring houses.
Lots of interest
Interest in these online leagues is
very good, lots of people on the save my spot list, people signing up, and many many people waiting for other people to sign up, get things rolling and see how it goes. The reception
is going better than projected.
